Meet our horses

Rose is a beautiful horse on the outside but she certainly shows it on the inside as well. Her patience, kindness, and gentleness will always stand out more than her coat. Rose is always ready for the task at hand, no matter the difficulty, she can do it. She loves her job, but she loves her herd even more. She rarely misses the opportunity to holler to her friends, or even talk to a new horse. Rose was generously donated to Hope Unbridled by Stephanie Vail.

She is a 14.3hh paint mare.

Frankie is one of the oldest therapy horses at Hope Unbridled but his journey isn’t over yet. Frankie has taught countless children, and adults, how to ride. He has been through the ups, and downs, but still continues to do the best for his riders and students. Frankie knows his job and he does it wonderfully. Despite his seriousness while in the arena, his favorite trick to do in the barn is stick out his tongue after a treat, making everyone who needs a little extra happiness laugh and smile. Frankie was donated to us by Lisa Johnson after a successful career as a western pleasure horse.

He is a 15.3hh bay quarter horse.

Meet Beaux!! Hope Unbridled has recently added beaux to the family and we are loving him already. Beaux has a kind soul and a lovely work ethic. Even though his confidence can get low at times, a friendly and sweet person can perk him up.

Beaux is a 15.3hh dark bay appendix horse from deep in the heart of Texas.  He was funded to us through the generosity of Jenny Castillo and Bank of America matching funds.

Pepper might be new to the program but is quickly stealing everybody’s hearts. Not only is he adorable, he is a social butterfly, always waiting for his buddies at the gate and peeking out of the stall for pets. Pepper was kindly donated to us by Angela Cook.

He is a 12.3 hh liver chestnut pony from Michigan.

Phinn is our largest lesson horse, although his size discourages some, his goofy personality definitely makes up for it. Despite standing at 17 hands tall he is truly a gentle giant. Phinn struggles with the concept of personal space, so if you plan on sitting by him, you must also plan on petting him. Phinn was given to us from Felica Saccket .

He is a 17 hh Clydesdale/Thoroughbred.

Meet Razza, he might be wider than he is tall but his heart is bigger than both. He takes care of any person on his back, no matter their mental or physical situation. At Hope Unbridled we love our students and horses more than anything!  Razz was a gift to us from Angela Cook and Stacia Hobson.

Razza is a 15hh sorrel quarter horse.

Biscuit is another one of our longstanding members of Hope Unbridled. This little guy is everything you have heard about a pony, ornery, silly, and irresistibly adorable. Many children have ridden Biscuit over the years and later graduated to larger horses, giving him the crucial role of being a beginner pony for our program. If you know anything about Biscuit then you definitely know that he specializes in teaching his kids determination and leadership skills. Biscuit was donated to us by Bobby and Sherry Jenkins

Biscuit is 12hh bay welsh pony.
